Brakoo delegation meets CEC Kargil, seeks redressal of issues at Government Middle School Brakoo.

Kargil, Jan 31, 2025: Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor (CEC), LAHDC Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon, was called upon today by a delegation from Brakoo to discuss issues concerning Government Middle School Brakoo.
The delegation raised various issues of the school including fulfillment of vacant teaching posts, compound wall for protection of school infrastructure, installation of the submersible pump at exiting hand pump, smart classrooms, replacement of wooden railings with iron ones, furniture for the school, and various other demands.
Dr. Akhoon patiently listened to all the demands and addressed the issues. Regarding the fulfillment of vacant posts, the CEC Kargil said that under the upcoming general line teachers’ transfer policy, teachers will be deployed based on the requirements of school.
While addressing the issue of railing and compound walling of the school, the CEC assured that the budget would be reflected in the relevant scheme for compound wall and iron railing. He directed Exen PHE to change the existing pump to submersible within 2 days.
Regarding the smart classroom, CEC Kargil said he will look into the matter and try to provide the smart class for the school.
Dr Akhoon assured that furniture will be provided to the school from the relevant scheme. The delegation thanked CEC Kargil for addressing their issues.
