DC Kargil Shrikant Suse chairs meeting to review progress on projects of PHE Department.

Kargil, Feb 05, 2025: Deputy Commissioner Kargil, Shrikant Suse today chaired a meeting to review progress on projects of the PHE Department.
The meeting was attended by Superintending Engineer PHE, Chief Planning Officer, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Executive Officer, Municipal Committee and Tehsildar Kargil.
The Deputy Commissioner reviewed the status of land allotment process in different areas for development of the 24*7 water supply project in the Kargil town and as well as progress on Jal Jeevan Mission projects in the district.
He directed PHE department to ensure adequate measures for winter management of drinking water schemes and to ensure issues raised by general public to be addressed promptly on ground by deploying sufficient resources.
