20-day coaching and training camp concludes at Ice Hockey Rink Goshan, Drass.

Kargil, Feb 15, 2025: The 20-day Coaching and Training Camp organized by the Zonal Physical Education Department concluded today at International Ice Hockey Rink Goshan, Drass.
SDM Drass, Vishal Attari, was the chief guest at the final ceremony, which was also attended by the Naib Tehsildar, SHO, Block Officers, and parents of the trainees.
On the occasion, the SDM lauded the role played by the Youth Services and Sports Department, Drass and emphasized that the youths take an active part in such activities.
This year, over 150 boys and girls participated in the training program under the supervision of international coach Gulzar Ahmad and Physical Education teacher Gh Mehdi. The trainees hoped to showcase their excellence soon.
The department is making tireless efforts to promote of winter sports in Drass and such camps will help the youth excel in the national and international level.
At the end, the SDM distributed certificates and medals to the participants. The event concluded with insightful remarks from the Zonal Physical Education Officer, Drass.
Meanwhile, the trainees thanked the department for organizing the training camp, providing young talents an opportunity to showcase their skills.
