Trout fish sale organized across Kargil on the eve of Shab-e-Barat and Jumu’atul Vida

Kargil, March 28, 2025: A special trout fish sale was conducted at various locations across District Kargil, including the main market, Baroo, Chicktan, and Drass, on the occasion of Shab-e-Barat and Jumu’atul Vida.
The sale was organized by private fish farmers of Kargil in collaboration with the Fisheries Department, ensuring fresh trout availability for the public. The initiative aimed to promote local fish farming while meeting the festive demand for fish during these significant religious occasions.
