District Legal Services Authority Kargil announces recruitment of Para Legal Volunteers.

Kargil, April 3, 2025: The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Kargil, has announced the recruitment of 14 Para Legal Volunteers (PLVs) for various police stations and institutions across the district. This initiative aims to strengthen legal aid services and ensure access to justice for marginalized and vulnerable communities.
Under the Scheme for Empanelment of PLVs in Police Stations for Missing Children, 12 positions have been allocated to different police stations in Kargil, while two additional PLVs will be appointed for the district-level legal services.
Eligibility and Application Process
Eligible candidates must be Indian citizens, at least 18 years old, with a minimum qualification of Matriculation. They should possess a strong commitment to community service without expecting financial gain. Applicants from diverse backgrounds, including teachers, retired government officials, doctors, students, social workers, and members of NGOs, are encouraged to apply.
Interested candidates must submit their applications along with self-attested copies of certificates verifying age, qualifications, and residence. The last date for the submission of application is April 7, 2025 and the interview will be held on 09 April, 2025 at the District Court Complex Kargil at 10.00 a.m.
