Kargil Courier Service airlifted 3192 passengers since February 08, 2025.

Kargil, April 15, 2025: The AN-32 Kargil Courier Service operated today, airlifting 41 passengers from Jammu to Kargil, marking the final flight of the season. The service commenced on February 8, 2025, following the closure of the Zojila Pass, and has airlifted a total of 3,192 passengers till date.
A total of 289 passengers have been airlifted from Kargil to Jammu, 1,370 from Jammu to Kargil, 322 from Kargil to Srinagar, and 1,211 from Srinagar to Kargil till date.
The passengers have expressed their gratitude to the authorities for facilitating the airlift during the closure of Zojila Pass, especially to Hon’ble LG Ladakh,LAHDC Kargil headed by Hon’ble Chairman/CEC, Hon’ble Member of Parliament (MP) Ladakh,Chief Secretary UT Ladakh, Commissioner/Secretary Civil Aviation, Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC, Kargil, Chief Coordinator AN-32 services as well as all Liaison Officers, Srinagar, Jammu and Kargil and officers/ officials at DC office.
They also expressed gratitude to senior officers and Pilots of Indian Air Force, Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India, Director Airport Authority Srinagar and Jammu, Air India teams at Jammu Airport, AIASL teams at Srinagar and Jammu Airports, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Senior General Manager (GM) AIASL, CASO CISF Srinagar and Jammu, CO CRPF Srinagar Airport for facilitating the movement of the stranded passengers.
