    Leh, June 14, 2025: The Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT), Jammu Bench, held a circuit sitting at the Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) Centre, Melongthang, Leh, with the objective of ensuring accessible and efficient justice delivery for the residents of the Union Territory of Ladakh.
    The session was graced by the presence of esteemed Members of the Tribunal, along with the (A) Secretary, Department of Law and Justice, UT Ladakh, Shri Shashi Kant Bhagat, and members of the legal fraternity.
    The Hon’ble Member (Judicial), Shri Rajender Singh Dogra, and Hon’ble Member (Administrative), Shri Ram Mohan Johri, were warmly welcomed (A) Secretary, Department of Law and Justice, UT Ladakh, along with other senior officials from the legal and administrative departments. The Secretary expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Hon’ble CAT Members for holding the sitting in Leh, noting that it reinforced the faith of the populace in the judicial system.
    During the sitting, the circuit bench heard 18 cases at the ADR Centre. The proceedings were conducted with diligence, fairness, and efficiency by the Hon’ble Members, ensuring timely attention to service-related matters.
    Law Officers and officials from various departments were also present to extend necessary support to the Senior Central Government Counsel. Their participation reflected the administration’s commitment to prompt and effective resolution of service-related grievances in the region.
