CEC Dr Jaffer welcomes new Deputy Commissioner Kargil, Rakesh Kumar (IAS).
Kargil, June 20, 2025 – Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC Kargil, Dr Mohd Jaffer Akhoon today welcomed the new Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC, Kargil, Rakesh Kumar at his office chamber a day after the DC assumed charge as DC Kargil.
Dr Mohd Jaffer Akhoon lauded the former DC Shrikant’s people-friendly approach and engagement with public representatives for holistic development of district Kargil.
The CEC expressed his optimism and said with more dedication, integrity and commitment Deputy Commissioner Kargil, Rakesh kumar will work for the development of people of the district.
CEC said that LAHDC Kargil will extend full support at all levels to the district administration to achieve new heights in its development mission in the district.
Executive Councillor, Social Welfare, Aga Syed Mujtaba Fazili, Executive Councillor, Er. Punchok Tashi, Executive Councillor, Kacho Mohd Feroz, Additional Deputy Commissioner Imteeaz Kacho, Councillor Abdul Wahid, and Chief Controller Finance, Iftikhar Hussain were present during the welcome ceremony.
