    Kargil, June 26, 2025 – The Deputy Commissioner and CEO of LAHDC Kargil, Rakesh Kumar (IAS), chaired a meeting on Wednesday to review preparations for the upcoming Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan – Awareness and Benefits Saturation Campaign, scheduled to be held at the block and panchayat levels across the district.
    The meeting, held at the Conference Hall in Baroo, was attended by key officials, including Senior Superintendent of Police Shri Ram R., Additional Deputy Commissioner Imteeaz Kacho, Joint Director Planning/CPO Abdul Hadi, SDMs of Drass, Sankoo, and Shakar Chiktan, along with heads of various line departments.
    During the session, Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Kumar directed that grievance redressal and outreach camps be set up in every block and panchayat. He also instructed SDMs, block-level officers, and departmental heads to ensure active participation by visiting the camps in person.
    DC Rakesh Kumar emphasized that stalls should be established by all relevant departments to deliver public services and address grievances on-site. “No government scheme or service should be excluded from the outreach effort,” he said, underlining the comprehensive nature of the campaign.
    The campaign is aimed to create awareness and deliver benefits in all villages and panchayats under various schemes that include active case finding for Tuberculosis, Ayushman Bharat Card, Caste Certificate, Kissan Credit Card, Pension Yojana, PM Gharib Kalyan Anna Yojana, PM Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, PM Kissan Samman Nidhi Yojana, PM Mutra Vandana Yojana, PM Suraksha Bima Yojana, PM Ujjwala Yojana, PM Vishwakarma, Ration Card, Sickle Cell Testing, Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, Domicile Certificate, MGNREGA, Mission Indradhanush, Mudra Yojana, and Poshan Varikas.
    The camps will be jointly organised by the Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS) and the Rural Development Department, with full support from all concerned departments.
    SSP Kargil Shri Ram R. welcomed the initiative as a valuable platform for public engagement and inter-departmental coordination. He announced that the Kargil Police will run an awareness campaign under its “Jagruk Kargil” initiative during the Abhiyan. He also assured logistical and operational support to ensure the smooth execution of the programme.
