    Govt. Degree College Drass Launches “Mission Clean Indus 2025”.
    Drass, August 1, 2025 — Government Degree College Drass today launched the Mission Clean Indus 2025 initiative, aimed at raising awareness and inspiring action towards keeping the Indus River pollution-free.
    The event featured a student-led talk delivered by Noman Raza, highlighting the importance of preserving the river ecosystem and its role in sustaining local livelihoods. A pledge to protect and conserve the Indus was administered by Shaban Parveen, with active participation from students and staff.
    The program was coordinated by Sajad Hussain, Assistant Professor of Environmental Science & NCC/NSS Officer, under the supervision of Principal Nasirul Mehdi Shabani.
    The college reaffirmed its commitment to environmental stewardship and community engagement, emphasizing that collective efforts are essential to achieving a cleaner, healthier Indus by 2025. The program is running for more than fifteen days playing different role by differ department of the college with collaboration of local administration and departments.
