Kargil, August 11, 2025: Government Degree College Kargil, Sankoo Campus observed the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan today with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit.
The event was organized in order to continue the values instilled in the nationwide campaign initiated under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav drive in 2022, to encourage citizens to hoist the national flag and celebrate the spirit of independence.
The program began with a patriotic quiz competition, where students from various departments actively participated. The quiz focused on topics related to India’s freedom struggle, national symbols, and historical milestones. It served as an engaging and educational experience for all attendees.
Following the quiz, a Tiranga rally was held within and around the campus. Students and faculty members marched together carrying the national flag and chanting patriotic slogans. The rally aimed to promote awareness about the importance of the national flag and instill a sense of unity and national pride among the community.
The event concluded with the singing of the National Anthem in the campus compound. Everyone stood in unity and respect as the anthem echoed through the grounds, marking a solemn and proud end to the day’s celebration.
