Turtuk, August 12, 2025: Mission Indus Clean-Up, a cleanliness drive was conducted today at various panchayats in Turtuk Block. The event was attended by the BDO of Turtuk, officials from concerned departments, and Nambardars from various panchayats. A special drive was also conducted at Thang, the last Indian village near the Line of Control (LOC).
The drive saw active participation from locals, especially women. A pledge was later taken by the public to reinforce the cleanliness initiative, encourage participation, and promote cleanliness
