LAHDC Kargil Adopts High School Bodhkharbu as Council Model School.
Kargil, Sepember 13, 2025 – The Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Kargil, today held a public meeting at High School Bodhkharbu under the chairmanship of Executive Councillor for Education, Zakir Hussain. On this occasion, the school was formally adopted as a Council Model School, ensuring special attention and resources for its holistic growth and development.
EC Zakir Hussain emphasized the importance of quality education for all and urged local leaders and the community to collaborate with the authorities in making the school a true model in the region.
The villagers warmly welcomed the decision, assuring their full cooperation and support. Speakers also highlighted the need to increase student enrollment at the school.
The school administration and community further expressed gratitude to the UT administration for recently providing hostel facilities at High School Bodhkharbu and requested the timely completion and improvement of these facilities.
