ADDC Leh District inaugurated the Financial awareness campaign- “Your Money Your Right” at DC conference hall, Leh.

Leh, October 28, 2025: Sh. Sonam Norboo, Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Leh District inaugurated the Financial awareness campaign- “Your Money Your Right” at DC conference hall, Leh, today on 28th October 2025.
The camp was attended by Lead District Manager Leh, all bank officials and esteened customers.
The aim of organizing the unclaimed deposit camp was to spread awareness among customers about unclaimed deposit and facilitate claim settlement, and ensure the funds are returned to their rightful owners or nominee in a timely manner.
The convenor briefed the members regarding the position and measures taken by banks to reduce unclaimed deposits.
The Chairman directed all banks to expedite the process and ensure immediately settlemnent of pending unclaimed deposit claims. He also directed all banks to furnish the information relating to government deposits.
In the camp 10 number beneficiaries have been given certificate as settlement of Unclaimed Deposit by different banks operating in the District Leh of UT Ladakh.
