Secretary Shashanka Ala visits Nubra Sub Division to Review Developmental Works.
Nubra, November 04, 2025: The Administrative Secretary of Social Welfare and Rural Development Department, UT Ladakh, Shashanka Ala, IAS, visited various villages in the Nubra sub-division to assess the status of ongoing projects and review field-level progress under the respective departments.
During the visit, the Secretary reviewed the functioning of the ICDS Centre at Bogdang and the Block Development Office at Turtuk. She took stock of the developmental works being undertaken, appreciated the efforts of field functionaries, and provided directions to ensure effective implementation of the ongoing initiatives. She also offered valuable feedback and suggestions for the further execution of schemes under the ICDS and Rural Development Department.
Heads of Departments and representatives from the concerned departments accompanied the Secretary during the tour.
