Preparatory Meeting Held for ‘Mimangs-si-sJhabstogs’ Campaign to Strengthen Public Outreach and Welfare Delivery.
    Leh, November 7:
A meeting was today chaired by the ADDC, Leh, Sonam Nurboo, along with CPO Leh, Tsewang Gyalson and ACD Leh, A.G. Zarger, to discuss the preparations for the upcoming ‘Mimangs-si-sJhabstogs’ initiative aimed at strengthening public outreach and ensuring effective implementation of welfare schemes across the district.
The ADDC emphasised the importance of coordinated departmental efforts to take government services directly to the people and ensure timely resolution of public grievances through the ‘Mimangs-si-sJhabstogs’ platform. He noted that the initiative will act as an integrated approach to connect departments with the people and deliver welfare benefits efficiently at the grassroots level.
Discussions were held on how issues regarding various schemes under NRLM, Samagra, ICDS, Social Security, Animal and Sheep Husbandry, PDD, LREDA, and PWD, are to be resolved promptly.
The ADDC further informed that a roster will be prepared for outreach activities focusing on completion of Golden Cards, Aadhaar enrolment, and other essential services. SDMs were instructed to coordinate with field-level officers to ensure proactive participation and smooth conduct of the programme in their respective subdivisions.
It was further decided that the officials will look into social security schemes that haven’t achieve saturation at the block level, and departments such as PWD will address issues related to PMGSY roads, compensation, and pending works at the sub-divisional level. LREDA and Solar departments were also directed to carry out awareness drives on ongoing renewable energy schemes.
A district-level schedule was discussed for departmental participation across various subdivisions, and it was decided that awareness banners will be displayed to inform the public about the services and facilities available under the initiative.
The meeting also discussed the deputation of officials, departmental representation, and logistical arrangements required for the smooth implementation of the programme. The CPO, Leh, instructed all nodal officers to submit detailed notes and reports to the Deputy Commissioner, Leh, outlining their departmental plans and preparedness. Long-term challenges such as network connectivity were also discussed, while short-term issues were directed to be resolved immediately at the local level.
The meeting was attended by all SDMs and BDOs virtually, along with district officers and officials from various departments.
