The event marked the fourth day of the series of outreach camps being held across Leh district since November 10.
The camp was attended by Nodal Officer Shahid Salim Banday (Deputy Director, DMG, Leh), along with officers and officials from various departments and local villagers.

Speaking on the occasion, Nodal Officer Shahid Salim Banday stated that the Mimang-Si-Sjabstogs programme aims to bridge the gap between the administration and the public by bringing government services directly to the people. He encouraged villagers to interact with departmental officials present at the camp, discuss their concerns, and submit their issues for redressal through proper channels.
Officials from around 25 departments participated in the camp, providing on-the-spot services, sharing information about government schemes, and disseminating details about ongoing and upcoming developmental projects.
During the camp, 40 new family names were added to ration cards, one deletion was made, and e-KYC for 12 beneficiaries was completed. Additionally, Aadhaar cards were generated for residents on the spot.
Villagers raised several local issues, including those related to PMGSY, shortage of doctors, MGNREGA implementation, Jal Jeevan Mission, and other public welfare concerns.
In his concluding remarks, the Nodal Officer assured the villagers that their issues and grievances would be duly forwarded to higher authorities for prompt redressal. He reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to ensuring the effective delivery of public services at the grassroots level.
The initiative, launched by the District Administration, Leh, aims to cover every village within 15 days, ensuring doorstep delivery of government services, spreading awareness about various welfare schemes, and addressing public grievances efficiently.
