‘Mimangs-si-Sjabstogs’ Initiative Strengthens Public Outreach and Welfare Delivery
The ‘Mimangs-si-Sjabstogs’ (Administration at Your Doorstep) campaign was conducted in Kharu Sub-Division, with departmental night halt on November 12, 2025, and the main day-long outreach program held on November 13, 2025, at Upshi village.
During the camp, various departments provided on-spot public services, including ration card enrollment by the Food and Supply Department; health screening, creation of ABHA IDs, and distribution of PMJAY (Golden Cards) by the Health Department; awareness on pension schemes, digital banking, and cyber fraud prevention by J&K Bank; issuance of PMMVY benefits and creation of APAAR IDs by the ICDS Department; and enrollment in pension and scholarship schemes by the Social Welfare Department.
The Agriculture Department facilitated KCC and PM-KISAN enrollments, while the Rural Development Department carried out job card issuance and e-KYC verification. The LRLM team showcased products from various Self-Help Groups (SHGs). The Sheep and Animal Husbandry Departments distributed medicines and antiparasitic sprays.
Ongoing projects under the PWD, Rural Development, Irrigation & Flood Control, and PHE Departments were assessed, and several issues were resolved on the spot. Resident, Domicile, and ST Certificates were also distributed, along with Aadhaar enrollment and correction services provided by the Education and Rural Departments.
In total, around 20 departments delivered a wide range of public services during the camp, which witnessed active participation from the local community.
