On 15 November 2025, Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas was observed at the DC Conference Hall, Leh, with active participation from students of Mahabodhi and Jamyang Schools, along with staff members from DSWO, ICDS, DCPU Leh, and DDAC.
As part of the programme, a pledge-taking ceremony was conducted under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, reaffirming the commitment towards a drug-free society.
The event also included a brief session highlighting the legacy of Bhagwan Birsa Munda and Ladakh’s eminent tribal freedom fighter Munshi Abdul Sattar, followed by the screening of a short documentary and the live telecast of the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s address
