Kargil, November 19, 2025: The LAHDC–Kargil Subordinate Services Recruitment Board (KSSRB) conducted a comprehensive training programme today for senior officers and staff responsible for the smooth conduct of the upcoming OMR-based written examination for district cadre posts. The session focused on ensuring transparency, accuracy, and strict adherence to examination guidelines.
The primary objective of the training was to equip all examination functionaries with clear instructions and standardised operating procedures for conducting the test across designated centres. Emphasis was laid on maintaining fairness, confidentiality, and integrity throughout the examination process.
Deputy Commissioner/Chairman, LAHDC-KSSRB, Rakesh Kumar, IAS; Secretary, LAHDC-KSSRB, Jahangeer Akhone, JKAS; and Joint Director Finance, Iftikhar Hussain addressed the participants. They highlighted the importance of conducting examinations with neutrality, professionalism, and the highest levels of transparency.
The officials urged all personnel to strictly follow the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure a flawless and credible examination.
The training programme was attended by Superintendents, Deputy Superintendents, Invigilators, Centre Observers, General Observer, and the Centre Magistrate.
During the session, detailed instructions were provided on: pre-examination arrangements and centre readiness, seating plans and hall preparation, safe receipt, storage, and opening of sealed question paper packets, verification of candidate identity using admit cards and valid ID proofs, allocation and proper labeling of OMR sheets, and time management and orderly conduct of the exam.
Officials also reiterated guidelines for the distribution and collection of OMR sheets, ensuring candidates fill in personal details correctly, and preventing any tampering, overwriting, or malpractice.
Resource persons briefed participants on maintaining discipline, monitoring candidates, and reporting irregularities. The session significantly enhanced the preparedness of examination staff, strengthening their understanding of technical and logistical responsibilities.
Participants expressed confidence in conducting the upcoming OMR-based written examination with efficiency and professionalism.
The training concluded with an interactive Q&A session where officers’ queries were addressed by KSSRB members.
