Review Meeting Held to Finalise Preparations for Upcoming LAHDSSRB Examination.
Leh, November 25, 2025: A comprehensive review meeting regarding the preparations for the upcoming LAHDSSRB Examination was convened today under the chairmanship of Romil Singh Donk, IAS, Deputy Commissioner Leh/Chairman LAHDSSRB, at the Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Leh.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner took detailed updates from all concerned officers on the progress of arrangements. He instructed officers to thoroughly inspect all examination centres, ensuring proper CCTV installation, seating arrangements, drinking water facilities, functional washrooms, and a fully equipped control room. He further directed that mobile phones shall not be allowed inside any examination centre and emphasised punctual reporting by all officers deputed for exam duties.
The DC also instructed officers to conduct mandatory inspections of all centres one day prior to the examination. He added that if required, another review meeting would be held before the exam to address pending issues.
Additional District Development Commissioner Leh, Sonam Nurboo (JKAS), welcomed the newly posted SSP Leh, Shree Raam R., IPS. He underlined that Centre Supervisors must take their roles and responsibilities seriously and ensure transparency, accountability, and fairness throughout the examination process. He further instructed officers to carry out centre inspections and maintain effective coordination to resolve emerging issues.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Leh, Ghulam Mohd. (JKAS), briefed the meeting on the duties, responsibilities, and conduct expected from Magistrates during the examination.
Secretary LAHDSSRB/Deputy Director, District Employment & Counselling Centre Leh, Rehmatullah Butt (JKAS), explained the responsibilities of Centre Supervisors in detail. He instructed officers that students arriving after the stipulated reporting time must not be allowed to appear for the examination, and officers must not take decisions on such matters independently without proper direction.
The Senior Superintendent of Police, Leh, assured full cooperation and stated that the Police Department will ensure all security arrangements and fulfil its responsibilities diligently. He also elaborated on the role of police personnel during the examination.
During the meeting, Centre Supervisors raised issues regarding heating arrangements, water supply, wiring connections, and other logistical concerns. Officers also shared their doubts and sought clarifications.
In response, the Deputy Commissioner instructed that adequate drinking water must be ensured at all centres and directed all departments to resolve the highlighted issues at the earliest.
