District Administration Leh Concludes Public Outreach Camp under “Mimang-Si-sJabstogs” Initiative at Chilling Sunda.
Leh, November 25, 2025: The District Administration Leh today successfully concluded the final leg of the ongoing “Mimang-Si-sJabstogs” (Administration at Your Doorstep) initiative by organising a comprehensive public outreach camp at the Sunda Community Hall. The programme aims to provide easy access to government services and welfare schemes for people living in remote and far-flung areas of the district.
Started on November 10, 2025, the two-week outreach campaign covered Leh town and all sub-divisions of the district. Camps were held at different locations to reach beneficiaries living in scattered and difficult terrains. Through this initiative, the District Administration ensured wider coverage, timely service delivery, and better coordination between departments and the public.
Goba Sh. Tsering Dawa formally welcomed the Nodal Officer, officers, and officials from various departments with the traditional khataq (white scarf), appreciating the Administration’s efforts to deliver essential services directly to the people.
Speaking on the occasion, Nodal Officer Ms. Deachen Chondol, JKAS (Private Secretary, LAHDC Council Secretariat Leh), said that the Mimang-Si-sJabstogs initiative shows the Administration’s commitment to improving last-mile delivery of government services. She added that such outreach camps help ensure that residents of remote villages are not left out due to geographical challenges and encouraged villagers to actively participate and make use of the available schemes. At the end of the camp, villagers submitted their applications and grievances to the Nodal Officer for necessary action. The Nodal Officer assured the villagers that their demands and applications would be submitted to the higher authorities.
