Constitution Day Observed at District Court Complex, Leh.
Leh, November 26, 2025: The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Leh, today observed Constitution Day at the District Court Complex, Leh. The programme was attended by Phuntsog Angmo, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Leh; Mohd Shafi Lasu, President, Bar Association Leh; APPs, Bar Members, Legal Aid Defense Counsel, Panel Lawyers, Court staff, and PLVs.
The event commenced with the reading of the Preamble to the Constitution of India by Phuntsog Angmo, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Leh. She also addressed the gathering and highlighted the significance of the day. She emphasized that the Constitution is a set of written principles and precedents that outline the fundamental political values and rights, procedural norms, directive principles, and the duties and responsibilities of both the government and citizens of the country.
