Eliezer Joldan Memorial College, Leh observed Constitution Day with patriotic fervour and active participation of students and staff. The programme was organised to mark the adoption of the Constitution of India and to strengthen awareness about constitutional values among the youth.
On this occasion, faculty members and students gathered at the college campus, where the significance of Constitution Day and the role of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar in shaping the nation’s Constitution were highlighted. The event also focused on promoting the spirit of justice, liberty, equality and fraternity.
A Constitution Pledge was administered to all participants, reaffirming their commitment to uphold the ideals and responsibilities enshrined in the Constitution. Principal Prof. Stanzin Yangdol appreciated the initiative and encouraged students to become responsible and informed citizens.
The programme was coordinated by the faculty members of EJM College with enthusiastic involvement of NCC and NSS volunteers. The college continues to organise such events to instill civic responsibility and awareness among students.
