EC Tourism Reviews Progress, Orders Speed-Up of Pending Tourism Projects in Kargil.
Kargil, December 03, 2025: Hon’ble Executive Councillor, KDA and Tourism Development Authority, Kacho Mohd Feroz chaired a review meeting today to assess the progress of ongoing works under KDA Kargil.
The meeting was attended by the Hon’ble Executive Councillor, RDD and ZDA, Er. Punchok Tashi, and the Hon’ble Executive Councillor for Sheep and Animal Husbandry, Aga Syed Mujtaba. Hon’ble Councillors of different constituencies of LAHDC Kargil besides Executive Engineer, KDA and other senior officials also participated in the deliberations.
After a detailed and threadbare discussion on the status of ongoing and pending works, the Hon’ble Executive Councillor issued clear directions to the Executive Engineer to expedite the completion of all pending and uninitiated tourism-related projects. He emphasized that timely execution of these works is essential for strengthening the tourism sector in the coming years.
The Hon’ble Executive Councillor further instructed that estimates for all pending works be prepared and finalized at the earliest, so that the proposals can be submitted to the higher authorities well in time for necessary approval and funding.
