CEC Kargil Holds Courtesy Meeting with DGP Ladakh in Leh.
Leh, January 20, 2026: Hon’ble Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon, held a courtesy meeting with the newly appointed Director General of Police, UT Ladakh, Shri Mukesh Singh, IPS, during his visit to Leh.
Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon welcomed the DGP and expressed hope for further strengthening of the Police Department in Ladakh. Matters related to policing, public safety in Kargil district, and other issues of mutual interest were discussed.
The DGP assured cooperation and expressed his intent to visit Kargil district in the near future.
