    Three-Day Workshop on Balvatika Educational Framework Concludes at DIET Kargil.
    Kargil, January 21, 2026 – A three-day workshop on the Balvatika Educational Framework, aligned with the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) 2022, successfully concluded at DIET Kargil as part of its Winter Training Program initiatives.
    The program was designed to equip teachers with the Balvatika learning framework and processes under NCF 2022, while enhancing their skills in teaching at the Foundational Stage. It engaged 50 in-service teachers from various zones across Kargil District in interactive sessions over the three days.
    The workshop modules covered key topics, including understanding the Balvatika framework in the context of NCF for Foundational Stage (NCF FS), play- and toy-based pedagogy, NIPUN Mission Lakshyas, creating joyful learning environments and resources, lesson planning aligned with NCF FS, and child brain development and stimulation. Expert insights on these subjects were shared by DIET Kargil faculties Dr. Willayat Ali, Ms. Tsering Angmo, and Mr. Mohammad.
    As part of the hands-on experience, participants visited the newly developed Balvatika Model Lab at DIET Kargil, where they immersed themselves in a real classroom environment and interacted with teaching-learning materials.
    The concluding session was graced by the Principal DIET Kargil Sh. SD Namgyal, who emphasized the importance of teachers active participation in DIET’s training programs and the critical need for continuous professional development in the context of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and NCFs. Participants provided positive feedback on the three-day sessions and commended DIET Kargil for organizing such impactful programs.
    Earlier, the Winter Training Program also featured a successful ICT Integration training, which attracted over 150 participants across six phases of three-day sessions.
    DIET Kargil remains committed to delivering ongoing training programs throughout the winter season on various subject matters, in alignment with NEP 2020 and NCFs.
