DHEW, Mission Shakti Leh Organises Two-Day SEE Learning Workshop for Students of Igoo Village, Leh.
The District Hub for Empowerment of Women (DHEW), Mission Shakti, Leh, organised a two-day workshop on Social, Emotional and Ethical (SEE) Learning for the students of Igoo Village with the aim of promoting holistic development, emotional well-being, and ethical values among children.
The workshop was conducted as part of a community-based educational initiative and focused on strengthening students’ self-awareness, emotional regulation, empathy, communication skills, leadership qualities, and ethical decision-making. The sessions were designed to be interactive and participatory, encouraging students to actively engage in discussions and experiential learning activities.
The programme was facilitated by Ms. Tsering Angmo, Resource Person from DIET Leh, who conducted various activity-based sessions, group discussions, and reflective exercises to help students understand the importance of SEE Learning and its practical application in everyday life.
The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and the initiative was well received by the local community, who acknowledged the relevance of SEE Learning in nurturing emotionally resilient, confident, and socially responsible individuals.
Such initiatives undertaken by DHEW, Mission Shakti Leh, play a significant role in strengthening value-based education and contributing to the overall development of children, particularly in rural areas
