Various delegations call on LG Ladakh.
Leh, February 5: Various delegations called on the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Shri Kavinder Gupta, at the LG Secretariat to raise local issues and submit their demands.
A delegation from Kargyam, led by its Nambardar, submitted a memorandum highlighting their demands.
Similarly, a delegation of Community Information Centres (CICs) operators met the Lt Governor and apprised him of issues concerning their regularisation and salary enhancement.
A delegation from the Drikung Kagyud Welfare Society, Leh, requested allotment of land for the construction of a dharamshala/sarai at Khaltsi.
The Lt Governor reiterated the UT Administration’s commitment to the welfare of the people of Ladakh, including those in remote areas, and emphasised improving power supply, telecommunication, and road connectivity while promoting sustainable livelihoods and preserving Ladakh’s unique ecology.
