Leh, Feb11: The executives and officials of various Transport Unions of the district, today, visited the District De-Addiction Centre (DDAC) Leh.

Leh, Feb11: The executives and officials of various Transport Unions of the district, today, visited the District De-Addiction Centre (DDAC) Leh at Dambuchan led by Additional Deputy Commissioner Leh, Sh. Ghulam Mohd (JKAS) and Additional Superintendent of Police Leh, Sh. Rigzen Sangdup (JKPS).
The Transport Union executives were apprised about the functioning of the centre along with its operational challenges.
Various unions such as Ladakh Taxi Operator, Ladakh Bus Operator, Medium Bus Operator, 207 Load Carrier Union, Mini Truck Operator, Bike Rental Union and Maxi Cab Operator appreciated the efforts of District Administration in curbing the menace of drugs and substance abuse in the society. As a gesture of appreciation the unions made contributions to assist with the smooth operation of the centre.
