School Leadership Development Programme for Viksit Bharat@2047 Begins in DIET Leh.
The District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Leh, today inaugurated a two-day School Leadership Development Programme titled “School Leadership Development for Viksit Bharat@2047 – Futuristic Leadership for Educators and Entrepreneurship in Government Schools.”
The programme is being organised byDIET Leh in collaboration with the National Centre for School Leadership (NCSL). The workshop is scheduled from 27th February to 28th February 2026 in Leh District, UT Ladakh.
The initiative aims to strengthen leadership capacities among school heads and educators to align with the vision of Viksit Bharat@2047, focusing on innovation, future-ready education, and entrepreneurship development in government schools. The programme emphasizes strategic planning, digital leadership, institutional transformation, Data-Driven Decision Making (DDDM) and fostering entrepreneurial mindsets among students.
The resource person for the programme is Mr. Dorjay Wangchuk, Senior Lecturer (Computer Science), who is guiding participants on futuristic leadership practices, integration of technology in school management, and innovative approaches to educational development.The programme reflects DIET Leh’s continued commitment to professional development of educators and strengthening the quality of education in the Union Territory of Ladakh.
