CEC Kargil Inspects Ongoing Works at Kargil Bhawan, New Delhi.
Kargil, March 19, 2026: The Hon’ble Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon, today visited Kargil Bhawan in New Delhi to review the progress of ongoing works.
During the visit, the Hon’ble CEC conducted a detailed inspection of the site and took stock of the pace and quality of construction. He held discussions with the executing agency regarding various issues hindering progress and pending liabilities emphasized the need for timely resolution of bottlenecks. Dr. Akhoon directed the concerned agency to expedite the pending works and adhere strictly to the timelines, ensuring completion within the stipulated deadline.
He further stressed that the project holds significant importance for the people of Kargil and should be completed within within months with utmost efficiency and quality standards.
The visit was accompanied by Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Ladakh, Haji Mohammad Hanifa Jan, who also reviewed the progress and underscored the importance of early completion of the facility for the benefit of the residents of Ladakh visiting the national capital.
Both the dignitaries reiterated their commitment to ensuring that the Kargil Bhawan project is completed at the earliest to serve its intended purpose effectively.
