New building of Govt Boys Middle School Padum handover to ZEO Zanskar.
Zanskar, March 24, 2026: Hon’ble Executive Councilor RDD, Forest, Information and Zanskar Development Authority LAHDC Kargil, Er. Punchok Tashi today inaugurated the New Building of Government Boys’ Middle School, Zanskar constructed by R&B Zanskar at a cost of Rs 83.79 lac.
EC Zanskar along with ZEO, Tsewang interacted with parents, VEC members, staff and students to know firsthand information about the school. The VEC members welcomed the Hon’ble EC to their school and conveyed thanks for the newly created facilities.
EC Tashi appreciated the parents and VEC members for their role in increasing school Enrolment. The VEC members requested some important Issues related to the School such as subject specific teachers.
EC Tashi assured the VEC members and parents of the Govt school to provide all possible assistant from LAHDC Kargil and appreciated their intitiave in sending their children to Govt schools located within their own villages.
Hon’ble EC directed the Executive Engineer R&B to clean the debris from the school premises of BMS.
