As per the directions of the District Programme Officer, ICDS Project, Leh, the ICDS Project Khaltse successfully launched Poshan Pakhwada, marking the commencement of nutrition awareness activities across the Sub-Division.
On the occasion, a Poshan Rally was organised to spread awareness about the importance of proper nutrition among the community. Additionally, a video conference organised by the Ministry of Women and Child Development was attended in connection with the nationwide launch of Poshan Pakhwada. The outreach programme, scheduled from April 09 to April 23, 2026, will be observed at all Anganwadi Centres across Sub-Division Khaltse.
Addressing the gathering, CDPO Khaltse, Shakila Bano, highlighted the objectives of the programme and emphasised the importance of community participation in achieving better nutritional outcomes.
The programme was attended by all Anganwadi workers of Sub-Division Khaltse.
