    Khaltse, April 15, 2026:
    The Public Outreach Programme “Jung-sJabs” was successfully conducted today at Fotoksar village in the Singaylalok Block of Sub-Division Khaltse, under the chairmanship of Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Khaltse, Mohd Sharif.
    The programme was attended by Naib Tehsildar Wanla, Phuntsog Namgail; Assistant Executive Engineers of R&B and I&FC Khaltse; Block Development Officer (BDO) Khaltse; Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) Khaltse; Block Veterinary Officer (BVO) Khaltse; Branch Manager, SBI Khaltse; Junior Engineers of PDD and PHE; Community Health Officer (CHO); along with officials from various line departments.
    Participating departments included Revenue, R&B, PHE, RDD, I&FC, Animal and Sheep Husbandry, Health, Agriculture, Horticulture, ICDS, Forest, FCS&CA, PDD, and SBI Bank.
    While addressing the gathering, the SDM Khaltse highlighted the objectives of the outreach campaign. He also monitored and assessed the delivery of departmental services during the programme and interacted with the public, taking note of feedback and grievances raised by the residents. The SDM also visited the Government Middle School and Anganwadi Centre of Fotoksar village. During the visit, suitable land was identified for the proposed construction of a Ration Store and an Animal Sub-Centre at said village.
    Officers and officials from various departments briefed residents about their respective schemes and services. They actively engaged with the public, addressed queries, and documented issues and concerns related to local development. A comprehensive range of on-the-spot services was provided during the camp.
    During the programme, the Revenue Department displayed digitized land record maps and read out details of individual landholders as part of the publication process under the Centrally Sponsored Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP). The department also issued Ladakh Resident Certificates along with electoral and revenue extracts.
    The Health Department conducted Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) screenings and facilitated the creation and linking of ABHA IDs and PMJAY cards to beneficiaries.
    Additionally, SBI Bank facilitated financial services, including the opening of savings accounts and Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana accounts. Aadhaar updation services were also provided to the residents of Fotoksar village.
