    Further affirming its excellence, Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre is also a proud recipient of the prestigious Prime Minister’s Award for Outstanding Contribution for Promotion and Development of Yoga, recognizing its exceptional contribution to the promotion and development of yoga at the national level. Already, hundreds of personnel from Armed forces have benefitted from the Yoga sessions at Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre.
    Serving in the harsh and demanding terrains of Ladakh presents unique psychological and physical challenges to personnel of Armed forces. Recognizing this, the initiative underscores a progressive approach to holistic fitness—integrating both mind and body—ensuring that personnel remain not only physically prepared but also mentally resilient in the face of adversity.
    Under the terms of the MoU, officers and jawans of ITBP will receive structured yoga training sessions conducted by experienced instructors from MIMC. These sessions are designed not only to enhance physical endurance but also to provide psychological solace, emotional balance, and mental clarity—essential attributes for personnel stationed in high-altitude, high-stress zones.

By integrating yoga, meditation, and counselling into the daily lives of armed forces personnel, the partnership sets a powerful precedent for prioritizing mental health and holistic wellness within India’s security forces.
