CEC Kargil Welcomes MHA Move to Convene Political Dialogue Meeting, Expresses Hope for Constructive Engagement.
Kargil, April 26, 2026: Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon, Hon’ble Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor (CEC), LAHDC Kargil, warmly welcomes the decision of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, to convene a meeting of the sub-committee for political dialogue on 22nd May, 2026.
The CEC expresses heartfelt gratitude to the Hon’ble Home Minister, Government of India, Shri Amit Shah Ji for this important decision.
The CEC also expresses sincere gratitude to the Hon’ble Lt. Governor of Ladakh, Shri Vinai Kumar Saxena Ji, for his proactive role and persistent efforts in facilitating the resumption of this dialogue.
