    Kargil, April 29, 2026: District Administration Kargil today operationalized the One Stop Centre, Kargil, marking an important step towards strengthening institutional support, entrepreneurship promotion, and public service delivery in the district.
    Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC Kargil, Rakesh Kumar chaired a meeting regarding the functioning of the One Stop Centre.
    During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the need for active participation and close coordination among all concerned departments to further strengthen the initiative. He directed stakeholders to work collectively to ensure that the One Stop Centre effectively supports beneficiaries, aspiring entrepreneurs, and the general public by providing accessible guidance, assistance, and awareness regarding various government welfare and self-employment schemes.
    Highlighting the importance of institutional convergence, the Deputy Commissioner stated that the One Stop Centre should function as an effective platform for creating livelihood opportunities, promoting entrepreneurship, and improving outreach at the grassroots level.
    In a significant development during the inauguration and functioning of the One Stop Centre, the Deputy Commissioner approved a loan case of a beneficiary on the spot, reaffirming the administration’s commitment towards prompt facilitation and support for deserving individuals.
    The event was attended by officials from the Handloom Department, Handicrafts Department, Animal Husbandry Department, Sheep Husbandry Department, and other concerned departments.
    The Deputy Commissioner reiterated that continuous monitoring, dedicated stakeholder involvement, and coordinated departmental efforts are essential to maximize the impact of the One Stop Centre and ensure that its benefits effectively reach the intended sections of society.
