The three-day training programme for Field Trainers under Census 2027 concluded successfully on 7th May 2026 at DC Conference Hall. The programme focused on strengthening field-level preparedness, enhancing understanding of data collection procedures, and ensuring the effective implementation of census-related activities before the Phase 1 of Census 2027.
The training sessions were conducted by the Master Trainers, Sh. Jatinder Kumar, Assistant Director, Directorate of Census Operations, J&K and Ladakh, and Sh. Ghulam Mohammad, Assistant Director, Rural Development Department, Leh. The sessions provided detailed guidance on census methodologies, field operations, and coordination mechanisms required for the smooth conduct of Census 2027 activities.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the Chief Planning Officer (CPO), Sh. Konchok Gyalson, who appreciated the resource persons and participants for their active involvement and contribution towards the successful completion of the training programme.
