DC Drass attends concluding ceremony of rISE Educator’s Fellowship Batch 3 Induction Programme.
Drass, May 09, 2026: The closing ceremony of the rISE Educators Fellowship Induction Programme Batch 3 (2026), conducted by rZamba Trust, was held in Kargil today marking the beginning of a new journey for fellow Educators committed to transforming education in the region.
The event was graced by Deputy Commissioner Drass, Imteeaz Kacho (JKAS) and Founders of rZamba who joined as special guests and encouraged the Educators to strive towards changing the mindset of parents and communities regarding the education system. The Educators demonstrated the unique and innovative methods of teaching which they had learnt and developed during the Induction Programme.
While addressing the gathering, Kacho emphasized that Educators must go beyond classroom teaching and become agents of positive social change. He highlighted the importance of spreading awareness about quality education and inspiring communities to support meaningful learning environments for children.
Kacho threw light on how rZamba’s path-breaking initiatives in entire Ladakh have become a sort of game changer over the years. While wishing the organization immense success in its future endeavours, he appreciated the sincere efforts of the Co-founder & CEO Shifa Saldon and her team towards transforming people’s perception towards teaching and learning.
The ceremony concluded with an expression of gratitude to the organizers and renewed commitment from the fellows to contribute towards building a stronger and more progressive education system.
