Day 12 of Mega Free Medical Camp Witnesses Continued Public Participation at MIMC Devachan.
Leh, May 13, 2026: The Mega Free Medical Camp, being organised as part of the ongoing Sacred Exposition of the Holy Relics of the Tathagata Buddha in Ladakh, continued successfully on its twelfth day at the Mahabodhi Karuna Charitable Hospital, Devachan Campus, Leh, witnessing continued public participation.
The camp is being organised by the UT Administration in collaboration with the Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre (MIMC) and SNM Hospital, Leh, and will continue till May 14, 2026.
A Sowa-Rigpa Medical Camp was also organised by the National Institute of Sowa-Rigpa (NISR), Leh, under the Tribal Health Care Research Programme, where patients received medical consultations and traditional medicines were distributed free of cost as per diagnosis.
Additionally, essential healthcare services including TB screening, NCD screening, radiology, and other diagnostic facilities were provided to ensure comprehensive medical support for the public.
The initiative continues to play a significant role in strengthening healthcare outreach during the sacred exposition, ensuring accessible and quality medical services for people from various parts of the region.
