An interactive meeting with stakeholders associated with the tourism sector, including hotels, camping sites, resorts, and guest houses, was held today at the DC Conference Hall.

An interactive meeting with stakeholders associated with the tourism sector, including hotels, camping sites, resorts, and guest houses, was held today at the DC Conference Hall under the chairmanship of Mukul Beniwal, IAS Deputy Commissioner, Nubra.
During the meeting, stakeholders were briefed about the objectives of the interaction, including promotion of tourism in Nubra, the importance of registration and documentation, and adherence to government regulations related to the tourism sector. Various aspects concerning responsible tourism practices, and coordination among stakeholders were also discussed in detail.
During the interaction, stakeholders raised various issues and suggestions relating to the tourism development.
The Deputy Commissioner assured the stakeholders that all issues and suggestions raised during the meeting had been noted and would be taken into consideration. He emphasized the importance of sustainable and responsible tourism including proper waste management in accordance with the Solid Waste Management guidelines.
