Deputy Commissioner Drass visits Forest Range Office, Reviews New Building Works.
Drass, May 18, 2026: Deputy Commissioner Drass, Imteeaz Kacho (JKAS) today conducted a visit of the Forest Range Office, Drass, in order to assess functioning of the department and to review progress of work in the newly constructed office building. He was welcomed by Range Officer Mohammad Iyaz and other officials.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner inspected various sections of the office and took stock of the services being provided. He also reviewed the progress of work and quality of the newly constructed office infrastructure. Junior Engineer Shahjahan was also present on the occasion.
Interacting with the officers and officials of the Forest Department, the Deputy Commissioner stressed the importance of maintaining proper office infrastructure and ensuring timely completion of all remaining works. He particularly emphasized the need for quality walling and directed the concerned authorities to ensure durable and standard construction work around the office premises.
The officers of the department briefed the Deputy Commissioner about the ongoing works and other developmental activities being undertaken by the Forest Department in the region. The Deputy Commissioner reiterated the administration’s commitment towards improving public infrastructure and ensuring efficient functioning of government offices in Drass District.
