DC Zanskar Reviews Khidmat-e-Awaam Progress, Directs Swift Redressal of Public Grievances.
Zanskar, May 25, 2026: Deputy Commissioner, Zanskar, Rajendra Gundage, IAS, today chaired a meeting at the Conference Hall, Dak Bungalow Padum, to review the progress and achievements of the Khidmat-e-Awaam programme in the district.
During the meeting, key issues raised during the programme were discussed in detail on a panchayat-wise basis. The Deputy Commissioner directed concerned officers to ensure their timely redressal.
The Deputy Commissioner appreciated the efforts of all Nodal Officers and departments for successfully conducting the awareness programme. He reviewed department-wise complaints and emphasized prompt, doorstep delivery of services. He also stressed the importance of punctuality and dedication among officers in serving the public.
Officers also highlighted issues related to their respective departments, to which the Deputy Commissioner assured priority redressal.
The meeting was attended by all Nodal Officers and other district officials.
