CEC LAHDC Kargil Reviews Progress of Kargil Wing of Ladakh Bhawan New Delhi.
New Delhi, May 25, 2026: Hon’ble Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon, today held a meeting with officials of the Central Public Works Department (CPWD) in New Delhi to review the progress of the ongoing construction and interior work of the Kargil Wing of Ladakh Bhawan, New Delhi.
During the meeting, CEC Dr. Akhoon conducted a detailed discussion on the current status of the project, taking stock of the work completed so far and the progress achieved on various components of the construction. He emphasised the need for timely completion and called upon the CPWD officials to expedite the remaining work without further delay.
Dr. Akhoon also reviewed the status of the interior work in detail, stressing that it should be executed to a high standard and completed in a time-bound manner so that the facility is ready in all respects for its intended use.
He further held deliberations regarding the handover and inauguration process of the Kargil Wing. He stressed that all necessary groundwork for a smooth transition should be undertaken in a well-coordinated manner so that the facility becomes operational for the people of Kargil at the earliest.
CPWD officials gave a detailed briefing on the progress of the remaining work and assured CEC Dr. Akhoon of their full cooperation in completing it within the stipulated timeline.
