Mobile Medical Unit Camp Conducted at Alchi village.
Khaltse, June 04, 2026: A Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) Camp was successfully conducted at Alchi village on June 04, 2026, by the Health Department, Sham District, with the objective of providing essential healthcare services to the local population.
During the camp, a large number of patients were examined and treated by a team of healthcare professionals, including a Gynecologist, Dentist, and Medical Officers. Various laboratory investigations were carried out, and screening for Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) such as hypertension, diabetes, and other chronic illnesses was conducted.
The medical team also provided health education and counseling to raise awareness about disease prevention, personal hygiene, and the adoption of healthy lifestyles.
The camp was well received by the local community and played a significant role in improving access to quality healthcare services in the area. Residents expressed appreciation for the initiative, which brought specialized medical care closer to their doorstep.
