Administrative Secretary Bhanu Prabha Interacts with Participants of Viksit Vibrant Village Programme at Choglamsar.
Leh, June 6: Bhanu Prabha, IAS, Administrative Secretary, Higher Education, UT Ladakh, interacted with participants of the Viksit Vibrant Village Programme at the 5th Battalion ITBP Campus, Choglamsar, on June 6, 2026.
The programme brought together youth participants from Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat, who will undertake an exposure visit to seven border villages in Ladakh under the initiative.
Deputy Director, Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat), Ladakh, Shri Khushal Gupta, delivered the opening address and briefed the gathering on the objectives of the programme and the planned visits to the villages.
State Director, MY Bharat, Tajamul Ara, welcomed the Administrative Secretary and expressed gratitude for her presence and interaction with the participants.
Addressing the gathering, Administrative Secretary Bhanu Prabha highlighted Ladakh’s unique geographical, cultural, and socio-economic characteristics that distinguish it from other parts of the country. She spoke about the vision of the Hon’ble Prime Minister to transform India into a developed nation by 2047 and emphasized the significance of the Vibrant Villages Programme in strengthening and developing the border villages of Ladakh.
She also shed light on the challenges faced by the youth and residents of remote border villages and underscored the importance of such exposure programmes in sensitising young people to the realities of life in frontier regions, noting that they are the future of the nation.
The programme concluded with an interactive session during which participants engaged with the Administrative Secretary and shared their thoughts and observations.
As a token of appreciation, State Director, MY Bharat, Tajamul Ara, presented a memento to the Administrative Secretary.
