DC Nubra Inspects 220 KV Diskit-Phyang Transmission Line at T-morh and Tsati, Nubra.
Nubra, 6 June 2026: Deputy Commissioner Nubra, Sh. Mukul Beniwal, IAS, conducted an inspection of the ongoing project of 220 KV Diskit-Phyang T-Line being executed by REC-PDCL at T-morh and Tsati to review the progress and assess issues hindering the completion of the transmission project at Tsati.
During the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned agencies to ensure timely completion of the project during the favourable working season, particularly before the onset of summer when rising water levels may pose challenges and lead to submergence of the site. He stressed that there should be no unnecessary delay in the execution of the work and emphasized adherence to the project timeline.
The inspection was accompanied by Sub-Divisional Magistrate Nubra, Sh. Jigmet Rapten, JKAS, Superintending Engineer, PDD Leh, officials of REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited , representatives of the Border Roads Organisation , and other concerned officials from the executing agencies.
