20th Kailash Running Trophy Cricket Tournament 2026 Commences at Nyoma.

The much-awaited 20th Kailash Running Trophy Cricket Tournament 2026 commenced today at Watse Naga, Nyoma, marking two decades of sporting excellence and community participation in the Changthang region.
The tournament was formally inaugurated by Shri Nitish Rajora, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Changthang, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Shri Zaheer Abbas Jafri, JKPS, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Changthang, attended the event as the Guest of Honour.
The opening match of the tournament witnessed an exciting clash between Changthang Shan and Chushul Cranes, setting the stage for a competitive and thrilling tournament ahead.
A large number of sports enthusiasts, local residents, youth, and cricket fans attended the inaugural ceremony and witnessed the commencement of one of the region’s most prestigious cricketing events.
