DIC Kargil Conducts Workshop on E-Commerce, GST and ONDC to Boost MSMEs.
Kargil, June 30, 2026: The District Industries Centre (DIC), Kargil, under the Department of Industries & Commerce, UT Ladakh, organised an awareness workshop on E-Commerce, GST Compliance and ONDC Onboarding under Intervention LA-5 of the RAMP (Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance) Programme.
The workshop was attended by MSMEs, entrepreneurs, SHGs, startups, artisans and producer groups. General Manager, DIC Kargil, Mr. Shafiq Ahmad, highlighted the importance of digital commerce in expanding market access for MSMEs.
Technical sessions were conducted by Mr. Muntazir (RAMP), Mrs. Shubham (EDI), and Mr. Zakir Hussain of Halman Apricot, covering e-commerce opportunities, GST compliance, ONDC onboarding, digital payments, product cataloguing, logistics and online branding. Interactive demonstrations and discussions provided participants with practical insights into digital business operations.
The initiative aims to strengthen MSME competitiveness through enhanced digital adoption and improved market access under the RAMP Programme.
